Ways to Volunteer

Shower Ministry

(Monday, Wednesday or Friday, 8:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.)

  • Greeter/registration of campers
  • Clothing room assistant (men and women)
  • Floater/miscellaneous helper/laundry
  • Cleaning crew (1 p.m. until finished, usually under two hours)
kitchen help

Kitchen

  • Cooks/servers (Monday, Wednesday or Friday, 8 a.m. – noon)
  • Mobile lunch prep (Tuesday, once a month)
  • Cookie/dessert baker (flexible)

Front Door Attendant

(Monday through Friday, noon – 4 p.m. or Tuesday/Thursdays – 8:45 a.m. – noon)

  • Work the front desk to answer the door, determine the need and direct person to available services; answer phone, take messages.

Mobile Shower Ministry

  • Trailer driver/set up and take down (Tuesday or Wednesday or Friday a.m.)
  • Shower attendant (Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday a.m.)
thrift store attendees

Thrift Store

  • Cashier and clerk (two people needed per day; Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday from 9:45 a.m. – 2 p.m.)
  • Donation sorter (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday a.m.)
  • Donation collectors, estate sale pickups or shed sorter (as needed)
